SafeSAN
| To help customers align their costs with actual storage usage Safe Host’s SafeSAN™ service offers a flexible and powerful on-demand SAN service. The service eliminates the high entry level capital expenditure that has to be undertaken by companies to service their storage requirements. Based on HP Enterprise Virtual Array (EVA) and consisting of fibre channel connections to customers’ servers, SafeSAN™ offers high performance storage with redundant disk arrays, multiple controllers and redundant fibre channel switches. Customers only need to indicate the size and number of virtual disks required on their servers and the capacity can be immediately made available. Each customer disk is implemented as a separate Logical Unit Number (LUN) on the virtual array. This provides flexibility, as the size can be changed when required, and total confidentiality, as other virtual devices on the system are hidden. The service is available for a fixed monthly cost.
